Catholic Sharing Appeal
Dear Parishioners,
The recent renovation of our sanctuary offers a unique opportunity for reflection. Inspired by the life of St. Peter Claver, a champion of the oppressed, this project not only enhances our worship space but also serves as a powerful reminder of our Christian duty to serve others.
St. Peter Claver dedicated his life to aiding enslaved people in the Americas, embodying extraordinary compassion and unwavering commitment to the most vulnerable. His legacy challenges us to examine how we can better serve those in need within our own community.
Generosity is a fundamental tenet of our faith. St. Peter Claver’s life exemplifies the transformative power of giving. The Catholic Sharing Appeal (CSA) provides an avenue for each parishioner to express their faith through concrete action. By contributing to the CSA, we can directly support those in need and continue the mission of St. Peter Claver.
Just as St. Peter Claver could not ignore the suffering of the enslaved, we cannot remain indifferent to the needs of our community. Every contribution to the 2025 CSA, no matter the size, is a significant step towards building a more just and compassionate community.
Let us embrace the 2025 CSA as a call to action. Inspired by St. Peter Claver, let us generously contribute and embody the spirit of Christ’s love in all our endeavors. May Our Lady guide and bless our efforts to serve others.
